The Mid-South Resource Conservation and Development Council, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Tuskegee University Experiment Station will be presenting a program concerning services and assistance their agencies offer.

The workshop will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, at Sweet Canaan Baptist Church, 6067 U.S. Highway 80 West, Tuskegee.

The program will include the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, micro-irrigation, tunnel house and plastic-culture crop production, soil quality, water quality, community garden, community development and other topics.

There is something for everyone — new producers, adults, elderly, families, youth and community members. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

For more information, telephone Elijah Moore, Mid-South RC&D Outreach Workshop Coordinator at 256-343-3596 or Chris Joe, USDA District Conservationist at 334-275-3321, extension 3.

Refreshments will be served.
