After being closed over the Fourth of July because of troubles with the pump, the Tuskegee City Pool at Henderson Park is tentatively scheduled to resume operation Friday, July 14.

The pool will be open from noon until 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and will be closed on Sunday. Monday through Thursday the pool will open for sessions from noon-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there will also be sessions from 7-9 p.m. for adults 18-and-over. Swim lessons and water aerobics will resume on Monday.

Admission is $1 per person per session.

Fall Youth Sports Registration

Tuskegee Parks & Registration is now accepting registrations for its fall programs: Football, Cheerleading, and Volleyball. Tuskegee Parks & Recreation will be entering its fouth year in the East Alabama Youth Football League and is the defending champion in the sophomore division.

The TPR Junior Tigers are also the defending champions in cheerleading in the freshman division.

Tuskegee will host the ARPA state volleyball championship in November of 2017.

The cost for football and cheerleading is $75 and the cost for volleyball is $50.
